Its July 4th, a day of independence.

- My name is Nathan. Once, when I was 17, on the tail end of a bad mushroom trip, I lamented about life to my first love Missy. She told me, "Get a notebook and write about it." And I did. I've written daily for the last 15years. Now, at 32, I've started digging thru boxes of old notebooks and transcribing the writings. A lot of these pieces were created when I was so drunk or high, I dont remember writing them. By the way, I'm much better now. (or just F'ed-up in a better way)
